Letter to Traders: New and Existing

Dear Traders,

How are you doing today and how is trading going? I believe you are beginning to understand for yourself what Trading really is. I will like to share some truth with you.
Like every other Life endeavors, trading also needs diligence and consistency to gain expertise. Do not be deceived, if you have not learnt well, mastered your emotions and develop a good trading psychology, you can LOSE ALL YOUR MONEY; most especially when you are not following the simple money management rules.

So What are the Secrets of Successful trading? You may want to ask, I will give a few of them below based on my experience of winning and losing over time.

1. Choose the right Broker: Your successful trading journey- in Futures, Options, Forex or Commodities trading start with the right Broker. A broker that will not manipulate the Charts. A broker that will help you and update you with information about the market, a broker that is fully certified and can easily follow rules, a broker that will allow you to easily withdraw your money when you have to, a broker that has good customer satisfaction policies and so on. You need to choose the right broker my friend. One of such brokers that I have known to be consistent overtime is IQ Option. You can check them out for their wonderful reviews. Remember, that is just one factor out of many but it is very important. Now read further for other factors.

2. Learn the skill: You have to really be patient to Learn and Master the Trading Skills. What you have not mastered, they say will master you. Learning is key to be successful in Life. Do not be part of the generation that is looking for easy money without learning. If you try that in Trading, you will end up losing all your Money. But if you give time to learn and Learn Well, you can be sure that you are on your way to succeeding. for example, IQ Options give $10000 for DEMO Practice and you can try your skills on that very well and be sure you are good to go Live. Please, don't just jump to Live account. A word they say is enough for the ...

3. Learn the Psychology: In Life, We don't always win, sometimes we Learn(some people tag this as losing but I tag it as learning). You have to know that you cannot definitely win all trades. In fact you can lose three or four trades in a row. Learn to leave and come back later. Don't ever practice REVENGE TRADING. It is very dangerous. When you win, be Happy, When you Lose, learn. Don't over indulge so you wont lose what you have won. Don't overstay so you won't lose more when you are losing. You can never be right, It is only the Market that can be right when it comes to trading. You just have to learn to follow the Market. Observe, Analyse and Trade. If you are Correct, great. If you are wrong, it means you can win later. I cannot over emphasize this because I have fallen a victim of this before. NEVER EVER TRADE WITH THE MINDSET OF REVENGING THE MARKET. It will go bad.

Thanks for reading. I will continue from here in the future posts.

Trading isn't Bad Anyways

Trading is an active style of participating in the financial markets that seeks to outperform traditional buy-and-hold investing. Rather than trying to profit from long-term uptrends in the markets, traders look for short-term price moves to profit in both rising and falling markets.

As a trader, one of the most important things you can do to improve your chances of success is to approach trading as a business. A successful trading business requires a strategic plan that covers your actual business and your actual trading. Your business plan will include things like short and long-term goals, the amount of capital you have available for the business and how you will set up your office. Your trading plan includes the details of trading: what you will trade and how you will trade it. Your plan should be so objective and concise that you could hand it over to another trader and they would be able to execute it exactly.

It’s important to understand that your trading plan is not simply a set of rules that you think will work, a list of set-ups that you are somehow fond of, or someone else’s plan. A good trading plan is one that you have researched, tested on historical data, tested in a live market and continue to evaluate at regular intervals.

Successful trading involves more than reading a few articles or books. You should plan on devoting a substantial amount of time and effort before ever placing a trade in a live market. This can be difficult because most new traders are anxious to get in the market. While the research and time commitments may sound daunting, they're a realistic and integral part of becoming a profitable, independent trader.
This tutorial serves as an introduction to help you get started trading. For more information, be sure to check out part two of our series, which covers more advanced topics including charting, leverage, risk and strategy automation.

GRANDFATHER'S BRILLIANT FINAL LETTER TO HIS GRANDKIDS

I SAW THIS ON THOUGHT PURSUITS AND I WON'T YOU TO READ TOO

kissing-great-grandpa

James K. Flanagan, a resident of West Long Branch, N.J., died of cardiac arrest. He wrote his five grandchildren a letter a few months earlier. Permitted by his daughter Rachel Creighton, it has been reprinted here.
It goes as follows:

My Dearest Ryan, Conor, Brendan, Charlie, and Mary Catherine,
My beloved daughter, Rachel, convinced me to write some advisable suggestions and lessons I have picked up in my life. The date, as of the starting of this letter, is April 8, 2012. I will be 72 years old tomorrow.
Remember, that each of you are a wonderful blessing from God. Keep that in mind whenever you’re in doubt and life seems discouraging.

1) Live boldly. Take on life’s challenges with no fear.
I urge you to pursue your dreams and always keep hope alive. It doesn’t matter how anyone else thinks or feel about what you are doing. Avoid naysayers at all turns. It is your dream and it’s not meant to make opinionated people happy. Your dream is for you. The emptiest feeling you could ever have in life is to look back and wonder what you could have done.
2) Everyone in the world is created equal.
Some people may want you to feel inferior because they may assume higher position at their jobs; or they hold superior job titles. You don’t have to submit to those feelings of inferiority. Believe it or not; they have the same fears, worries, and put their clothes on the same way. They even fart like anybody else…and it stinks the same. You have the birthright to question authority if you feel it is being abused and handled unwisely. Just take heed; when questioning authority — do so in a respectable manner.
3) Comprise a list of the things you’ve never done and want to do.
This could be learning a new language, skill set, or even meeting that special someone. Don’t become a master of “procrastination”. Look at life as if there is no tomorrow. Start doing one the things on your list today if the day and your present situation permits it.
4) Adhere to the Irish proverb, “Moi an ogle ague tiocfaidh si” which means “Praise the child and she will flourish.”
5) Be helpful and generous at all times. Help as many people — as you can — that are in need. God blesses those who help others.
6) Please don’t join any vigilante groups or the military; who ultimately train you to kill. There is nothing good about war. Never has been and I’m pretty sure there never will be. A countless number of innocent and good people die as a result of war. You notice the powers that be are never on the “front line”.
7) Make it a point to read as much as you can. Books offer so much for education and imagination. They are portable and don’t need any electrical power or cables to work for you.
8) Always be honest; with yourself and others. Be true to the Word of God.
9) Go see the world while you are vibrant and young. Don’t put it off until you think you have enough money. It may never happen. Go ahead and grab a passport today and start planning to see the world.
10) Pick something you love to do as your career. This way you’ll never have to work a day in your life. Don’t ever just take the job for the money involved. That only makes you a SLAVE to the rhythm and it can be soul-crippling.
11) Keep a cool head in times of turmoil. Don’t scream to get your point across because it only adds fuel to the fire. I can’t remember ever coming to a sensible conclusion after I yelled.
12) Don’t break promises to your children or any other children for that matter. Say what you mean and mean what you say. Children genuinely trust adults to tell them the truth. When you do, it should be with the utmost love and generosity.
13) Be sincere with people. Don’t tell anyone you love them when you know fully well that you don’t. Emotions are fragile. Handle people with care.
14) Be in tune with nature. Learn to appreciate all of God’s gifts of nature; the woods, mountains, ocean, and the desert. It is essential for your soul.
15) Make it a point to visit Ireland. It would be like a pilgrimage to our native country. Be sure to visit West Ireland: Roscommon, Clare, and Kerry are my strongest suggestions.
16) Give the people you love a hug when you see them. Say something uplifting to them and let them know that you love them when you part ways. This way they will always know that you love them.
17) Always show gratitude. Be thankful that the Lord has made another day for you to live in. This day is unique and will not come again. You should live every day to the fullest. Be thankful for the people and things you have in your life.

IDEA

KNOW THIS

I saw this on quora as an answer to a question, you need to see it;

There are very few real opportunities in life. Charlie Munger only met one Warren Buffett in his life. Dr. Nakamatsu has 4000 inventions but for all I know, he only made money on the floppy disk.

Mark Zuckerberg only had a very small window to create the greatest Stalking Machine of mankind.

There's only one TWO STEP METHOD:

A) write down ideas every day. You and I, we've been through this.

B) seek out high-stakes moments.

You do "A" so that WHEN "B" happens, you know what to do.

If a lion jumps out at you, you're dead unless you've spent a lot of time running in your life. That's an "A" and then there's a "B" (running). There's no C. "C" is life or death. Choose life.

HOW TO CREATE A HIGH STAKES MOMENT. I certainly don't recommend drowning yourself (sounds too much like auto-erotic asphyxiation). Or taking out an eye. (what if you also lose the other?).

But here's some simple ways to create moments that feel high-stakes. If you can taste the fear, trust The Force, feel the egg inside your chest, ready to crack and give birth, then you have a taste.

MLM

MLM is no different from ANY Business… EXCEPT:
It tends to emphasize, ‘Brings to the forefront’, exaggerates all our weaknesses toward MONEY which i believe allows us to learn and grow much faster than when our weaknesses may be hidden and never really surface in a traditional business.
Yes by all means do NOT get involved if the lure of money overwhelms you. Again it brings to the forefront the persons TRUE intentions and relationship with money. Like in any endeavour we should pray to God through Jesus for courage and strength.. we cannot do anything without His help
I have grown as a Christian because of the weaknesses that MLM brought into the open. I was able to eliminate many of my un-Godly habits and thoughts because of this wonderful industry, These habits may have been hidden for a long time if it were’nt for this industry.
It is NOT MLM that is the problem it is the mind of the person. It is NOT Money that is the problem it is the attitude toward money.
MLM is a beautiful industry and helps so many people grow and learn.
It is always and will always be ONLY about Jesus…
If everyone would just look to Jesus in EVERY action and dealings we would have no problem.. That is the REAL Issue!!
Bless and Be Blessed

Pastors are humans too

HELP YOUR PASTOR FINISH WELL

Ex. 17:12- When Moses' hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up- one on one side, one on the other- so that his hands remained steady till sunset

It was a mid-week service. I asked the congregation to ask one another "How was your day?". They went all around smiling, hugging, back slapping and did it with joy. No one walked up to me as the pastor. And I was so stressed that day. It struck me that a lot of folks rarely express care for their pastors.

Pastors are not super-human. They get tired. Can you imagine how pastors cope with hearing bad news and good news in less than 12 hours? Sitting by the sick and rejoicing with the promoted? Preaching a wedding service with huge excitement and the next minute a burial service with gloomy weeping folks? It takes a toll! Yet, he has his personal challenges too.

Please, when last did you pay him a visit not to talk about your issues? When last did you pray for him and his family but you keep asking him to pray for you? When last did you give him a gift to say thank you? When last did you send him a simple note "Pastor, you preached a great sermon"? When last did your church send him and his family on a sponsored "rest" trip? When last did you... (Let the list continue). Pastors cry and most have "internal bleeding". Some are close to depression. Some quit the ministry.

Don't be quick to pick up a stone and aim at your pastor. What are you doing now to ensure that his tired hands remain lifted till the sun-set of ministry?

I ask for all who will read this- Do something for your pastor this week and don't stop doing it. I just helped your Pastor because this is something your pastor will rarely tell you. They do not want to look "weak".

God bless you as you do...

What a love

I saw this on a site and I love to share with you;

A little boy came up to his mother in the
kitchen one evening while she was fixing
supper, and handed her a piece of paper
that he had been writing on. After his Mom
dried her hands on an apron, she read it,
and this is what it said:
For cutting the grass: $5.00
For cleaning up my room this week: $1.00
For going to the store for you: $.50
Baby-sitting my kid brother while you went
shopping: $.25
Taking out the garbage: $1.00
For getting a good report card: $5.00
For cleaning up and raking the yard: $2.00
Total owed: $14.75
Well, his mother looked at him standing
there, and the boy could see the memories
flashing through her mind. She picked up
the pen, turned over the paper he’d written
on, and this is what she wrote:
For the nine months I carried you while you
were growing inside me: NO CHARGE
For all the nights that I’ve sat up with you,
doctored and prayed for you: NO CHARGE
For all the trying times, and all the tears
that you’ve caused through the years: NO
CHARGE
For all the nights that were filled with
dread, and for the worries I knew were
ahead: NO CHARGE
For the toys, food, clothes, and even
wiping your nose: NO CHARGE
Son, when you add it up, the cost of my
love is: NO CHARGE.
When the boy finished reading what his
mother had written, there were big tears in
his eyes, and he looked straight at his
mother and said, “Mom, I sure do love
you.” And then he took the pen and in
great big letters he wrote: “PAID IN FULL”.
LESSONS:
You will never know your parents worth till
you become a parent
Be a giver not an acquirer, especially with
your parents. there is a lot to give, besides
money.
BECAUSE MONEY IS THE WORST WAY OF
MEASURING HAPPINESS

Learn Patience

I stumbled at this and want you too to gain from it too. Enjoy;

A 30-year-old man visited his old father who could no longer see very well. As both of them sat in front of his house chatting, a dove flew in and perched on the window. The old man asked his son, "Is that a dove that perched on the window?". The son replied, "Yes dad". After a short while, he asked the son the same question a second time and got the same answer. When he asked the same question the third time, his son became angry and rebuked him saying, "This is why I hate visiting you, you keep repeating questions!"

The old man was silent for about 10 minutes, and then he asked the son to go into his bedroom and fetch his old diary. The son did as he requested. Then he asked him to read page 2 of the diary. The words read:

"My son is 3 years old today. As we sat in front of the house playing, a dove flew in and perched on the window. My son asked me 30 times if it was a dove. I gladly replied "yes" to each question. I cannot explain in words how happy I am that my son has learned to talk. What a wonderful day to remember!"
The young man dropped the diary on the ground, then he cried and apologized to his father. The old man spoke again, "Enough son, one mistake cannot make you less a man, but repeating the same mistake over and over again can kill any man. I've chosen today to teach you the final lesson before I depart this world.
The lesson for today is Patience. Always be kind and considerate to the less privileged, this is how you'll stand out even among the saints. If you are nice to everyone on your way up, they will definitely do their best to keep you there.

Stay cool....

Know Ebola now

Thank God for Science and discoveries. If not for them, maybe many of us would have been wiped out by different diseases in the past, but God help scientists to discover solutions to those diseases. Recently, we heard of another disease in Africa in which I know scientists will find solution to as God help them to. But I want to share with you what was sent to me about the disease, it called Ebola disease and caused by Ebola virus. God want us to live fine and that can happen when we are informed. Please, don't ignore...

All you need to know about Ebola Virus now:
1. It is a Central African disease that has travelled over countries in a living host to West Africa. It is easily spread by physical contact and eating contaminated bush meat. Major hosts are in 5 species of Bats but monkeys and apes are easily infected and killed.
2. It kills in a week, leaving no time to treat an individual.
3. It has no known vaccine or cure.
4. Known cases have been experienced recently in Guinea, Liberia and Central Africa Rep, spreading eastwards and westwards towards Nigeria. Death toll so far in West Africa is over 100.
5. The Ebola outbreak of 2014 is the most challenging one witnessed in Africa.

What we can do?
1. Avoid eating any bush meat for now! Especially Apes and Bats.
2. Wash your hands as regularly as possible, especially after shaking a stranger. It is spread by contact.
3.The most straightforward prevention method during Ebola outbreaks is not touching patients, their excretions, and body fluids, or possibly contaminated materials and utensils. Patients should be isolated, and medical staff should be trained and apply strict barrier nursing techniques (disposable face mask, gloves, goggles, and a gown at all times). Traditional burial rituals, especially those requiring embalming of bodies, should be discouraged or modified. Awareness is key, don't just read or ignore...spread this campaign before the virus spreads..

The vaccine will be discovered but before then let fight this Ebola with care. Stay cool.

Ask God

Idolatry- Colossians 3v5(MSG)Do you need a stone to call your new god before you become idolatrous? Do you need to go back to worship Sango,Obatala,or Ogun to become idolatrous? What of your feelings and your emotions that drive you?Take a look at what that scripture calls what King James version of the Bible calls Idolatry. It says : 'A life shaped by things and feelings instead of God'.Maybe you need to ask yourself these questions- What drives me? What do I follow? What shapes my life? What is the reason behind what I do? Isn't it because you saw someone wear that cloth, and it was good on him, that drove you to the market to buy yours? Is it not because you just felt like making that decision that drove u to go ahead?Scripture calls it Idolatry... God is looking for men who will absolutely depend on him for direction for what to do per time, not men that are led by their feelings or things they see...Have you asked God about that decision? He wants to get involved... Ask Him..
Thanks to Olasode Blessing for this article

If thou truely repent..

Because I knew not when my life was good,
And when there was a light upon my path,
But turned my soul perversely to the dark,
O Lord, I do repent.

Because I held upon my selfish road,
And left my brother wounded by the way,
And called ambition duty, and pressed on,
O Lord, I do repent.

Because I spent the strength Thou gavest me
In struggle which Thou never didst ordain,
And have imperfect life to offer Thee,
O Lord, I do repent.

Because I was impatient, would not wait,
And thrust my willful hand across Thy threads,
And marred the pattern drawn out for my life,
O Lord, I do repent.

If we truly repent, then shall we start the work? Shall we start building Character? Shall we start making our nation better? Shall we start loving ourselves.. In God we trust, may He help us..
